Willis is in. $16.7 million over 5 years. It'll get torn up and re-done in 3 years if he is as good as advertised. Here's some footage of Willis wreaking havoc in the SEC. Especially note (at 0:26) him running down Arkansas RB Darren McFadden, this year's early favorite to win the Heisman. That's freakish game speed and it belongs to the Niners' defensive anchor for the next decade. PREDICTION: Willis replaces Derek Smith in the starting lineup by week 5.
Filthy. Just filthy.
The next line of the song goes "Believed by very few, just keep it very cool, or we will bury you." Sounds like the 2007 Niners to me. The team had a phenomenal offseason. Now it's time to make it happen on the field.
Plenty more to come throughout training camp, including breakdowns of each position, the team's prospects and an NFL preview.
