Vegas has the Niners a 3-point favorite over the Cards to open the season. Before anyone gets too excited, keep in mind that a team gets 3 points just for being at home, so this is the equivalent of Vegas throwing its hands up and saying "You tell us where to move the line, because we have no clue." Personally I leave the line alone and take the over (45). These teams are going to be working out defensive kinks and have offenses that are ready to rock and roll. That should make for a nice little shootout. ESPN's Accuscore is predicting a 23-19 Niners win with 61% probability. Now there's something you can take to the bank.
As an aside, does anyone knows of a good online betting site that doesn't require shady/ borderline illegal measures to load the account.
